I have super thick curly hair. Any suggestions on any emo hairstyles that could work for me?

I went through various bad hair days as a child %26gt;.%26gt;;....lol...

anyways what I did when i went through that emo stage is have my stylist split some of my hair in the front and keep it a few inches longer than the rest of my hair (which were the emo bangs that split side to side).. then i had her cut the back and sides in various layers so that when i blow dried (depending on how i felt that day) my tips would curl giving my hair alot of volume and a crazy spikey look, but my bangs remained straight (use got2b glue for the bangs) and rub some in the rest of your hair when it's wet. then blow dry while bending your head over and get the air all through the back of your head first for best results....(Rave4x Mega hairspray, and LA LOOKS sports gel is the best) Gel hair first...got 2 be glue next...spread evenly out..make sure to put more on your bangs and blow dry them straight till they are stiff....then a light touch of hairspray on the rest of the hair to keep things in place..=)

(cold air dry for best results...but warm air dry looked real cool to) play around with both see what you like best tho kay =) my hair would come out close to this...good luck

what is up with ppl trying to be a label.. and if u were to choose a label emo is the worst no offense. but thats no tthe question.. anways.. try going a blue blakc in color then use tons of mouse and gel to slick it either back or to the side and at the ends spikeit or make it a cool wave or something depending on your face shape. ive never been "emo" so im just shootign the breeze.

i have an awsome style....if your willing to straighten your hair. if you are...then straighten it, dye it black and add flame red tips to the bottom.(temporary dye of course...unless you want permanent) these arent the best pics...but they help show what im talking about

You can dye it black, and cut it so that it is like a wedge in the back, which goes longer toward the front. Then when you blow dry, you only straighten the front which hangs over your eyes, all emo like! The back would be short, and wavy/curly. You can always dye some sections of the front red, or pink or white if you like.

You can still look how you want to with curly hair, but shorter in the back would work for you!
