Depends on whether you're looking to go long or short sweets.
If your going short get a really textured cut with a long fringe (bangs in american english???)
If you want to go long ask for short layers that start a little above the top of your ear. Ask for your fring to sweep across your forehead and have that cut a little below your eyebrow.

I love the whole rocker emo styles! I myself have never had it though. Think about how your hair will look with your everyday clothing style as well. Not just your face. Are you a Conservative dresser, or a high-fashion dresser? Do you wear skinny pants and bangles? (forever 21) Emo/rocker would be good for you then. Do you wear lots of cardigans and boot-cut jeans? (viva Ala GAP) Then something more versatile like say a layered bob.

you know what you want before anybody starts to work on
your hair get busy now start looking at pictures in mags.
find what you,like and what you would like to look like
